Vocal Coach/Singer/Songwriter Angelia Williams was born in Chicago, IL, and raised in Milwaukee, WI. By the early age of three, Angelia had already grown a love for music and loved to sing. Under the guidance of her mother, Angelia developed a sincere desire to become a serious musician by the age of 9, and began singing lead vocals with her local church choir. By 14, she was touring already with the duet act “Tamara and Angie”.
While touring, Angelia became a well- known mezzo- soprano whose broad vocal range also include alto and tenor. She has performed, toured and recorded with many well-known gospel groups in Milwaukee, WI, and performed in concert with mainstream gospel artist such as Men of Standard, Kim Burrell, The Clark Sisters, Fred Hammond, and Detrick Haddon just to name a few.
In the fall of 2002, Angelia began her formal education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee majoring in Music with a concentration in voice, of which she now holds a Bachelors degree.
The Voice Studio of Angelia Williams was the recipient of the Nashville’s Best Award in the category of Vocal Coach for 2013- 2018 consecutively, and she has made her television debut on the hit Bravo TV Reality Show “Thicker Than Water” in its third season. Her client, Brooklyn Tankard is one of the main characters on the show.
Angelia is also an award winning songwriter, holding The Akademia award for Best R&B/Soul Song in May 2017, and the Best Female R&B Artist award of 2018, bestowed by the Music City Hip Hop Awards.
Angelia’s freshman EP release, “Both Sides of Love” became available on all digital platform November 23, 2017. The long awaited LP, “Redefinition of Angie” is set to release April 3, 2019.
